I am an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner and health services researcher, and my research examines 1) the roles of nurse practitioners in providing care in hospitals and to children 2) the role of the work environment on patient and organizational outcomes, and 3) the role of policy in care delivery and the achievement of child health outcomes. I use a variety of approached in my interdisciplinary research, including survey research, secondary data analysis of large, complex data sets, and qualitative research.
